The plastic film greenhouse is an innovative architectural marvel, utilizing high-quality plastic film as the primary covering material. This versatile structure is extensively embraced across agricultural cultivation and numerous other domains, offering unparalleled flexibility and efficiency.
Frame part
Masterfully engineered for excellence, our greenhouse's frame is meticulously crafted from robust metal materials like steel pipes and galvanized pipes. These pipes are expertly cut, bent, and welded to form the resilient skeleton of the greenhouse, ensuring a strong and stable structure. The choice of pipe diameter and wall thickness is tailored to the greenhouse size and design load-bearing requirements. Small greenhouses might employ pipes with diameters ranging from 25-32mm, while larger structures benefit from pipes with greater diameters and thicker walls. This ensures unparalleled stability, allowing the greenhouse to withstand the weight of plastic films, snow, wind loads, and more, all while standing strong against Mother Nature's elements.
Our frames come in a delightful array of shapes, with commonly used arches and ridges leading the way. The arch-shaped greenhouse frame boasts a circular form, offering superior coverage for the plastic film. This ensures an even distribution of forces and provides a spacious, open internal environment. Meanwhile, the ridge greenhouse mirrors the classic ridge shape of a house, delivering drainage benefits and unparalleled flexibility in space utilization. It's perfectly suited for planting methods that demand elevated spatial requirements, making every square inch count.
Plastic film
The plastic film is the quintessential covering material for our state-of-the-art greenhouses. Among the popular choices are polyethylene (PE) film and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film. PE film is celebrated for its affordability, remarkable flexibility, and high light transmittance, generally ranging from 85% to 93%. It also exhibits excellent puncture resistance. On the other hand, PVC film excels in thermal insulation compared to PE film, with light transmittance levels reaching 80% to 90%. However, it commands a slightly higher price, and prolonged use may see the plasticizer leach, potentially affecting film performance.
Our plastic films are available in various thicknesses, typically between 0.08mm and 0.2mm, allowing you to choose the durability and cost that best meet your needs. The color options are equally diverse; transparent films offer superior light transmission, promoting photosynthesis for vibrant plant growth. Meanwhile, specialized films with unique pigments, such as blue films, can modulate light quality, offering a significant boost to the growth of select plant species.
Ventilation system
Natural ventilation is a cornerstone of plastic film greenhouse efficiency. This is typically achieved through strategically placed vents on the side walls or roofs of the greenhouse. Side wall vents may be manually operated plastic steel windows or automated rolled film vents controlled by film rollers, providing easy operation and adjustable vent sizes. Roof vents often utilize a roof ridge ventilation method, placing the vent at the ridge's pinnacle. This design harnesses the natural rise of hot air, allowing it to escape and achieve effective ventilation and cooling through convection.
For larger plastic film greenhouses, mechanical ventilation systems offer a cutting-edge solution. These systems are primarily composed of powerful fans and strategically arranged ventilation pipes. Fans are typically installed on one side of the greenhouse, while ventilation pipes network throughout the interior, delivering fresh air uniformly to every corner. Although highly efficient in ventilation, these systems do incur higher equipment and operational costs, offering a premium yet effective option for optimal greenhouse climate control.
Sunshade system
The sunshade net is the backbone of our innovative greenhouse sunshade solution. Installed either inside or outside the greenhouse, each option offers distinct advantages. The internal sunshade net is prized for its ease of installation and maintenance, while the external sunshade provides superior shading, directly blocking sunlight from hitting the plastic film. This reduces internal heat accumulation effectively. However, it requires a robust installation to withstand natural forces like wind and rain, ensuring durability and performance.
Our shading nets come in a spectrum of specifications, including 40%, 60%, and 80% shading rates, catering to diverse plant needs. For species that thrive in lower light conditions, such as edible fungi and flower seedlings, a higher shading rate is ideal to shield them from the harmful impacts of intense sunlight, offering them the gentle embrace of the perfect environment.

Lower cost
Compared with glass greenhouses and polycarbonate sheet greenhouses, the construction cost of plastic film greenhouses is much lower. The plastic film itself is cheap, and the frame structure is relatively simple, and the material cost and installation cost are relatively low. This makes plastic film greenhouse in agricultural production more easily accepted by the majority of farmers, especially suitable for small and medium-sized farmers. |
Good light transmission
Transparent plastic film can provide good natural lighting conditions, so that the greenhouse interior light is sufficient, conducive to plant photosynthesis. Moreover, the light transmission performance of plastic film can be adjusted by selecting different film materials and thicknesses to meet the requirements of different plants for light intensity and light quality. |
Construction flexibility
The size and shape of the plastic film greenhouse can be flexibly designed according to the actual site and planting needs. It can be a small simple greenhouse for home gardening or small seedling breeding; It can also be a large multi-storey greenhouse for large-scale vegetable and flower planting. The assembly of the frame structure is relatively simple and the construction period is short. |
