The plastic film greenhouse represents a cutting-edge greenhouse structure, ingeniously designed with plastic film as its primary covering material. This versatile and essential component finds extensive applications in agricultural cultivation and numerous other fields, offering unmatched benefits for growers and agriculturists alike.
Frame Part
Our greenhouse frame is ingeniously crafted from robust metal materials, including superior steel and galvanized pipes. These components undergo precise cutting, bending, and welding processes to create a resilient and supportive skeleton. The size and durability of these steel pipes are meticulously chosen based on the greenhouse's scale and load-carrying capacity. Smaller greenhouses may utilize steel pipes with a diameter range of 25-32mm, whereas larger greenhouses demand pipes with more substantial diameters and thicker walls to guarantee unparalleled structural stability, adeptly supporting plastic films, snow, wind loads, and other environmental pressures.
Our frames showcase a variety of shapes, with arches and ridges being the most prevalent. The arch greenhouse boasts a circular design, ensuring an even distribution of force and a seamless covering of the plastic film, maximizing internal space. The ridge design mimics the traditional house shape, offering superior drainage benefits and flexible space utilization, ideal for specific planting methods that necessitate elevated space requirements.
Plastic Film
The plastic film is an essential covering material for our greenhouses. We offer high-quality polyethylene (PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) films, each with distinct benefits. The PE film is cost-effective, boasting excellent flexibility and high light transmittance, typically between 85%-93%, with commendable puncture resistance. In contrast, the PVC film excels in thermal insulation, with a light transmittance of 80%-90%. Although pricier, it provides superior durability, albeit with a gradual release of plasticizers that may impact film performance over time.
Our plastic films are available in various thicknesses, ranging from 0.08-0.2mm, catering to diverse durability and cost preferences. Transparent films deliver maximum light transmission, enhancing plant photosynthesis. Additionally, specialty films infused with pigments, such as blue films, can modulate light quality, fostering optimal growth conditions for select plant species.
Ventilation System
Our plastic film greenhouses feature an efficient natural ventilation system. This system incorporates strategically placed vents on the side walls or roofs, including manually operable plastic steel windows or roll-up film vents controlled by film rollers. The roll-up mechanism offers easy operation, allowing users to adjust vent size as needed. Roof ridge ventilation optimizes airflow by utilizing the natural principle of hot air rising, effectively expelling warm air and achieving cooling.
Our larger plastic film greenhouses can be equipped with advanced mechanical ventilation systems, comprising powerful fans and an extensive network of ventilation pipes. Fans, typically installed on one side, distribute fresh air uniformly throughout the greenhouse via the pipes. This system ensures high ventilation efficiency, albeit with increased equipment and operational costs.
Sunshade System
The sunshade system of our greenhouses is anchored by the sunshade net. These nets can be positioned either internally or externally. Internal sunshade nets offer ease of installation and maintenance, while external nets deliver superior shading by directly intercepting sunlight, thereby reducing heat accumulation within the greenhouse. However, external installations require robust structures due to susceptibility to environmental factors like wind and rain.
Our shading nets come in various specifications, offering diverse shading rates such as 40%, 60%, and 80%. For plants with low light requirements, like edible fungi and flower seedlings, selecting a high shading rate net can prevent damage from intense light, ensuring optimal growth conditions.

Lower cost
Compared with glass greenhouses and polycarbonate sheet greenhouses, the construction cost of plastic film greenhouses is much lower. The plastic film itself is cheap, and the frame structure is relatively simple, and the material cost and installation cost are relatively low. This makes plastic film greenhouse in agricultural production more easily accepted by the majority of farmers, especially suitable for small and medium-sized farmers. |
Good light transmission
Transparent plastic film can provide good natural lighting conditions, so that the greenhouse interior light is sufficient, conducive to plant photosynthesis. Moreover, the light transmission performance of plastic film can be adjusted by selecting different film materials and thicknesses to meet the requirements of different plants for light intensity and light quality. |
Construction flexibility
The size and shape of the plastic film greenhouse can be flexibly designed according to the actual site and planting needs. It can be a small simple greenhouse for home gardening or small seedling breeding; It can also be a large multi-storey greenhouse for large-scale vegetable and flower planting. The assembly of the frame structure is relatively simple and the construction period is short. |
